Project overview
A restock tracker and drop alert platform that helps trading card collectors reach new releases at retail price, with a Chrome extension that adds fair-priced items to their cart.
The problem
Popular trading card releases sell out fast, and collectors can't watch every store all day. By the time a restock is noticed, what's left is often resold above retail.
Software features
- Retailer monitoring. A server watches retailer stock around the clock for the products members lock in.
- Fair-price guard. Alerts fire at or near MSRP, scalper-level pricing is filtered out, and each member sets a price ceiling per product.
- Real-time alerts. A restock reaches members through push notifications, Discord, and the browser, with a ready buy link.
- Member tools. A tracker, dashboard, and watchlist sit behind a free tier and a paid membership.
How the automation works
Detect
The server checks each retailer's stock and spots when a locked product comes back.
Decide
The price is checked against MSRP and the member's own ceiling before anything fires.
Alert
The member gets the restock on push, Discord, and in the browser.
Add to cart
The extension adds the item to the cart. The member reviews it and checks out.
The Chrome extension
The extension puts the last step in the member's own browser, and the member stays in control.

- Sends browser notifications when a locked product goes live
- Adds the item to the cart in the member's own logged-in session
- Never logs in for the member and never stores payment details
- Never completes a purchase. The last tap is always the member's
